A Free General Medical Camp was organized on 15 March 2026 at Village Jatowala, Dehradun by the HEEEL Foundation (Health, Education, Environment & Empowering Lives Foundation) in collaboration with Graphic Era Hospital, Dhoolkot. The camp was held from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, where many families from the surrounding areas availed medical consultations and health check-up services.

The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Haroon Ali, Former Pradhan of Village Jattowala, who appreciated the initiative and stated that such health camps are extremely beneficial for rural communities as they provide access to expert medical consultation and treatment within the village itself.

The event was also attended by Mr. Vivek Kumar Sharma (Program Director, HEEEL Foundation), Mr. Pramod Singh Chauhan (Program Head) and Mr. Dheera Thakur (Marketing Representative, Graphic Era Hospital), along with other members and volunteers who played an important role in successfully organizing the camp.

A team of specialist doctors provided their medical services during the camp, including Dr. Mukul Chauhan (Orthopaedic Specialist), Dr. Mandeep Gill (Pediatrician), Dr. Rishali Hasija (Gynecologist), Dr. Ankita Tomar (Medicine Specialist) and Dr. Hridayesh (Ophthalmologist), who examined patients and offered medical advice.
During the medical camp, patients were provided with free general and internal medicine consultations, eye check-ups, orthopaedic consultations, general surgery consultations, and gynecology and pediatric consultations. In addition, free BP, blood sugar, oxygen level and pulse check-ups were conducted, and free general medicines were distributed to patients in need.

During the event, representatives from Graphic Era Hospital also informed villagers about the medical facilities available at the hospital. They highlighted that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, treatment for various diseases is available at Graphic Era Hospital, Dhoolkot, which is empaneled with Ayushman Bharat, ECHS, CGHS and major health insurance companies.

The organizers stated that similar initiatives will continue in the future to ensure that quality healthcare services reach underserved communities.
